Join Shudokan Aikido Association (SAA)

Yuwakan is a member dojo of Shudokan Aikido Association, which is affiliated to Aikikai Foundation, Aikido World Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.

Membership in SAA is not required to practice at Yuwakan, but is required if one wishes to rank in the art, which means getting colored belts, all the way to various levels of black belt.

Upon payment of $25 annual fee, a membership booklet will be provided where seminars may be recorded; also a membership card will be provided verifying current membership. This fee, as well as testing fees, is used to pay for (shared) expenses related to bring various instructors from all over the world to teach seminars, to promote aikido, and to pay any Association-related dues and expenses.
